Centre position on the Carlsbro / Studiomaster NAMM stand is the artist performance stage, which is hosting a lineup of live performances from a variety of amazing musicians throughout the duration of the show.
Performances on the second day featured young San Francisco singer-songwriter Megan Slankard. The acclaimed independent recording artist is enjoying sales success, with four albums released already and a fifth on the way, and has toured constantly across the States for the last two and half years, supporting the likes of Train and returning home to play sellout dates at the Swedish American Hall and Café du Nord, perform at the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge and sing the National Anthem to 42,000 fans in the San Francisco Giant’s stadium. On Friday she took to the Carlsbro / Studiomaster stage for a solo acoustic set.
Other artists appearing include US funk rockers, Underground Railroad, jazz guitarist Dean Grech, singer-songwriter / composer-producer Tod McLeod, singer / guitarist Colin Armstrong, singer-songwriter Drew (DrewBee) Arthur, Naked to the World, Genji and Laura, Seneca Pettee (Winner of Student of the Year Independent Artist Program at Musicians Institute), The Neopoly Tones, and The Chimps and McKocky from the Orange County School of the Arts.
The Carlsbro / Studiomaster performance stage is equipped exclusively from Studioking brands, including PA, backline, lighting, staging and truss. The PA is fully Studiomaster, comprising S3 Series cabs, subs and stage monitors, KM92 microphoness, and the new Horizon 2012 powered mixer, with additional SX2 Series power amps. Backline guitar amplification is the latest Carlsbro EVO Series 50DC tube heads with 4x12 cabs and the Viper 1000 watt bass stack. Drums are a combination of CD by Carlsbro acoustic kit and e-kit components. Lighting, staging and truss are all courtesy of Staar.
